Chuck Fanning

Chuck Fanning is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community service, legal recruitment, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as a Community Volunteer with The Milo Foundation since May 2024, Fanning is also a member of the Board of Trustees and Governance Committee at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, having previously participated in various executive committees. As a co-founder and board member of The Berkeley Food Network since December 2016, Fanning is dedicated to addressing food insecurity through innovative solutions. Fanning's commitment to education and community support includes a tenure as Board Member and President of Berkeley Community Scholars, where significant organizational growth occurred under leadership. Additional volunteer experiences include Project Homeless Connect and coaching with North Oakland Little League. Fanning co-founded MLA Global Inc., contributing to its rise as a leading legal search firm, and played a role in the establishment of The California Labor Letter. Fanning holds a Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in American Government from the University of Virginia.
