James Foster

James Foster serves as the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Charles River Laboratories, a position held since 1991. Their career at Charles River began in 1976, during which time James advanced through various roles, including Vice President of Administration and General Counsel. In addition to their leadership at Charles River, James Foster is active in several organizations, including serving on the Presidential Advisory Council at Berklee College of Music and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston.
