David Jung

David Jung is a seasoned professional in the environmental insurance sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Berkley Environmental since January 2021. Prior to this role, David held various positions within Berkley Environmental, including Vice President since March 2015. David's experience spans several prominent companies, including a tenure as Assistant Director - Environmental at Catlin Group and Vice President at XL Group, plc. Moreover, David has extensive background at Zurich North America, where responsibilities included managing profit and loss for the Environmental Specialties unit and overseeing a multi-disciplinary team. David's early career included roles as Senior Underwriter at AIG and Staff Geologist at Mittlehausser Corporation, alongside foundational positions that developed expertise in geology and materials testing. David holds a Master of Science in Geology from Northern Illinois University and completed the Executive Development Program at Northwestern University.
