Ray Baeck

Ray Baeck is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment analysis and acquisitions across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Analyst at Berkshire Axis Development since April 2024, Ray has also held roles at Shelborne Capital as a consultant, and at Avison Young in capital markets. Previous positions include underwriting and acquisitions at Hazelview Properties, financial analysis at Sobeys, and various roles in consultancy and strategy at 180 Degrees Consulting and Loblaw Companies Limited. Ray's foundational experience in finance began with positions at Scotiabank and CIBC, complemented by a background in digital ad operations at Toronto Star. Ray holds an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, with a focus on mathematics, business administration, and computer science.
