Alamelu Thinnappan

Alamelu Thinnappan is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Robotics at Berkshire Grey since April 2022, with previous experience as a Robotics Software Engineer in Motion Planning at Optimus Ride from August 2019 to April 2022. Alamelu served as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's GRASP Lab under Dr. Cynthia Sung from October 2017 to May 2020. Additionally, Alamelu completed an internship as a Path Planning Robotics Intern for Bosch, contributing to the Mercedes Autonomous Driving Project during the summer of 2018. Alamelu holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (2017-2019) and an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (2013-2017).
