Tomás Blas

Tomás Blas has extensive experience in the insurance and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Head of Property Spain at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since July 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing general property, power, oil and gas, and construction operations. Prior to this role, Tomás held various positions at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty from January 2008 to July 2019, including Regional LoB Head Engineering for the Mediterranean Region and Engineering LoB Manager for Spain and Portugal. Earlier in their career, experience includes roles as Engineering Underwriter at Allianz España and Process Engineer at Valeo Lighting Systems. Tomás possesses multiple advanced degrees, including an Executive MBA from ESMT Berlin and several master's degrees in risk prevention and integrated quality management.
