Olaf Pforte

Olaf Pforte has extensive experience in quality management and related fields, currently serving as the Head of Quality Management at BERNINA International AG since March 2017. Prior roles include Head QESH at Sulzer, where responsibilities included coordinating global quality activities and ensuring compliance with QESH standards from September 2011 to February 2017. At Läpple AG, Olaf was the Leiter Managementsysteme, overseeing quality, environmental, and occupational safety activities. Previous experience also includes consultancy on business process optimization at POS and leadership in product realization at Küpper Weisser GmbH. Early career experience encompasses directing Quality & EHS at Alcan Singen GmbH, managing quality systems and certifications across multiple sites, as well as positions in ISO 9001 consulting and training. Olaf Pforte holds a Dipl.-Ing in Maschinenwesen from the University of Stuttgart.
