Jessica Gerke

Jessica Gerke is a skilled project manager currently working at Bertelsmann Stiftung since April 2023, focusing on initiatives related to young people and society. Prior to this role, Jessica served as a project referent for BNE youth participation at Stiftung Bildung from January 2020 to April 2023. Additionally, experience includes serving as a guest lecturer at Freie Universität Berlin from 2020 to 2021 and fulfilling the role of student assistant in adult education and educational management at the same university from February 2017 to September 2019. Jessica also led the Let's Play School project at Kreidestaub e.V. between 2017 and 2018, overseeing the preparation of teacher education students for school adoption and project weeks focusing on education for sustainable development. Previous experience includes teaching computer education in primary schools with Computer Bildung Berlin from February 2014 to February 2015. Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Educational Sciences (2016-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Educational and Social Sciences (2013-2017) from Freie Universität Berlin.
