Bernd Leukert

Bernd Leukert is currently a Board Member at Bertelsmann. Bernd has previously worked as a Senior Advisor for Digital Transformation at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and as a member of the Supervisory Board at TomTom.

Leukert has global responsibility for development and delivery of all products across SAP’s product portfolio, including the entire technological foundation of all of SAP’s products as well as application development for lines of businesses. Bernd also heads SME business and strategic innovation initiatives at SAP, driving the development of new growth opportunities for SAP together with the go-to-market organization, for example, in the area of the Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Supply Chain and Manufacturing, Industrie 4.0, SAP S/4HANA, as well as SAP Cloud Platform.

Leukert has P&L responsibility for the business units SAP S/4HANA/Digital Core, Digital Supply Chain & Manufacturing, SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Analytics, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, SAP Small and Midsize Business, and Customer Engagement & Commerce. Bernd also leads the Design and User Experience unit.

Bernd Leukert has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Karlsruhe, and an informationstechnologie degree from Trinity College Dublin.
