Stephen D. Greenwald

Stephen D. Greenwald, Esq. is an experienced legal professional and business leader with extensive expertise in franchising and compliance. Currently serving as General Counsel at Best Life Brands since January 2013, Greenwald oversees legal matters for an international multi-brand franchisor with over 650 locations across the United States and Canada. Previously, as In-house Counsel and Director of Compliance at ComForCare Health Care Holdings from July 2008 to May 2022, Greenwald was instrumental in expanding the franchise from 75 to 375 locations by ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance and developing organizational policies. Earlier in the career, Greenwald was the owner of Payroll Advance from 1999 to 2007, where effective management and strategic negotiations led to significant revenue growth. Greenwald holds a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan.
