Matthias Wetzel

Matthias Wetzel is an experienced executive in merchandise planning and sales execution, currently serving as Head of Merchandise Planning at BestSecret Group since February 2023. Prior to this role, Matthias held various senior positions at HSE Home Shopping Europe GmbH, including Director of Sales & Execution and Senior Vice President of Sales & Execution, where responsibilities included developing sales strategies and managing budgeting and forecasting. Matthias also served as Senior Vice President of Merchandise & Sales Planning & Analysis at HSE24 Home Shopping Europe GmbH, focusing on omnichannel planning and inventory management. Earlier career experiences include roles in program planning and analysis, along with a position as Project Assistant at BMW Group. Matthias holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Business Administration from the University of Regensburg and has studied at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
