Joseph Sylvester

Joseph Sylvester possesses extensive experience in philanthropy and development within various esteemed organizations. Currently serving as the Philanthropy Coordinator for Planned Giving at Beth Israel Lahey Health, Joseph has held multiple roles focused on fundraising, including responsibilities as the Coordinator for the Board Annual Fund and Board Development. Previously, Joseph contributed to New England Baptist Hospital as a Major Gifts Philanthropy Coordinator, was the Annual Fund Coordinator at Mystic Seaport, and worked as a Development Assistant at the New Britain Museum of American Art. Early career experiences include serving as an Interpreter and Development Assistant at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center. Joseph holds a Master's Degree in Public History from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University.
