Matthew Petrie Aia

Matthew Petrie AIA is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in project management and design. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Beyer Blinder Belle since November 2023, Matthew is involved in significant projects in Somerville and the Academy Building at Phillips Exeter Academy. As a Board Member of the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board since June 2024, Matthew contributes to professional growth within the real estate community. Previous roles include Associate Principal at Sasaki, where Matthew managed various commercial projects, and project architect at NBBJ Design, specializing in a major clinical and research building. An accomplished board member with the Charles River Conservancy since 2002, Matthew has also led architectural companies, including founding a successful practice focused on high-end residential design. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
