Sam Shaneyfelt

Sam Shaneyfelt has extensive experience in military and aerospace operations, particularly as a fighter pilot and senior operational leader. Currently serving as an F-16 Simulator Instructor Pilot at BGI, LLC since April 2019, Sam previously held multiple leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, including Senior Manager for F-35 Development and Senior Staff Operational Analyst at Skunk Works. Sam's military career with the United States Air Force spanned from 1988 to 2014, including notable titles such as 35th Operations Group Commander and Director of Operations for Air Forces Central Command. With a deep background in operational test and evaluation, Sam has also contributed to major combat operations and holds advanced degrees from the Air War College and the College of Naval Command & Staff, among other qualifications in military strategy and tactics.
