Jayan Mathews

Jayan Mathews is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in the insurtech and health insurance sectors. Currently serving as the Insurance Director - India at Cover Genius since November 2022, Jayan oversees embedded insurance solutions for major digital companies. Previously, Jayan co-founded Vital, focusing on healthcare financial solutions, and held prominent roles at Apollo Munich Health Insurance, including Head of Digital Marketing and Sales and Head of Product Development, where responsibilities included managing product portfolios and regulatory compliance. Jayan's career started at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, advancing through various roles in product marketing and development, and has foundational experience from a summer internship at Frito Lay. Jayan holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur.
