Tyson Thompson

Tyson Thompson is an accomplished civil engineer and public administration professional with extensive experience in municipal development and project management. Currently serving as an Associate at Baird, Hampton & Brown since November 2024, Tyson previously held significant roles including Assistant Director of Development Services and Senior Capital Project Officer at the City of Fort Worth, where collaboration with city officials and management of complex projects were key responsibilities. Tyson also contributed as a Research Fellow at The Texas Lyceum and served in the U.S. Navy Reserve as a Lieutenant Commander, focusing on training and readiness for a battalion of 650 personnel. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant City Engineer with the City of Rowlett and as Owner/Principal Engineer at Evolving Texas. Tyson holds a Master of Public Administration in City Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Texas Tech University.
