Karol Aguirre Cortés

Karol Aguirre Cortés is a professional with a background in civil mining engineering and extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Specialist control CIO at BHP since October 2022, Karol previously worked at TIMining from November 2020 to October 2022 in multiple capacities, including Lead Product Engineer and Product Consultant Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a tutor in the PACE program at Universidad de La Serena, where support was provided to vulnerable students pursuing civil mining engineering studies. An internship at CODELCO involved reviewing operational losses and delays in autonomous truck cycles.
