Renae Watson

Renae Watson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and mining operations. Currently serving as a Project Manager and previously as Mining Operations Superintendent at BHP since October 2018, Renae has developed high-value initiatives focused on production sustainability and maintenance strategies. Prior experience at Rio Tinto from July 2008 to October 2018 included various roles such as Mine Production Superintendent and Project Engineer, where Renae managed production targets and coordinated day-to-day mining operations. Renae's diverse background also encompasses leadership roles in business development, grain marketing, finance management, and agribusiness, supported by a Graduate Diploma of Mining from Federation University Australia and a Diploma of Agriculture from Charles Sturt University.
