Yury Lysov

Manager - Underground Materials Handling at BHP

Yury Lysov is an experienced professional in underground infrastructure and project management, currently serving as an Underground Infrastructure Specialist at OZ Minerals since January 2019, focusing on the installation of systems for the Carrapateena mine. Prior to this role, Yury held various positions at RCR Tomlinson, including Project Manager and Pre-Commissioning Manager, overseeing construction verification and commissioning for lithium and zinc-lead facilities. Previous experiences include senior roles in project and construction management for multiple mining projects at Newcrest and Xstrata, as well as engineering and management positions at Sinclair Knight Merz, Gleeds, and Skanska, working on diverse projects from materials handling systems to food packaging factories. Yury holds a degree in Process Engineering from Saint Petersburg State University and a Diploma in Project Management from TAFE NSW.
