Nazanin Khalili

Nazanin Khalili is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering, currently serving as Manager of Product Engineering and Development at BIC since July 2024. With extensive academic experience, Khalili has been a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Toronto since May 2013, teaching various courses including Mechanics of Solids II and Design for the Environment. Previous roles include Senior Engineer in Research & Innovation and Manager of Materials Research at Inkbox, as well as a Research Assistant at the Smart Polymers and Composites Laboratory. Khalili holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, with a focus on flexible sensors for electronic skin applications. Additional practical experience includes R&D internships at Myant Inc. and Shawcor, emphasizing development in smart textiles and leak detection systems.
