Job description

The License and Merchandise Manager is responsible for developing and managing licensing and merchandising strategies to maximize the revenue and brand visibility of the company’s children-focused intellectual property (IP). This role involves identifying and securing licensing partners, overseeing merchandise development, and ensuring all products align with the brand’s creative vision and values.

Qualifications and Skills

    • 5+ years of experience in licensing, merchandising, or brand management, preferably in the children’s entertainment or animation industry.
      • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
      • Excellent understanding of branding, product development, and consumer trends in children’s markets.
      • Familiarity with legal aspects of licensing agreements and intellectual property rights.
      • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and children’s content.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working with global brands or children’s entertainment properties.
  • Knowledge of regional markets and cultural sensitivities related to children’s products.
