Nicholas Kane

Nicholas Kane has extensive experience in inventory control and loss prevention within the retail sector, currently serving as the Director of DC Inventory Control and Inventory Systems at Big Lots since August 1998. With a focus on multi-site distribution center management, Nicholas oversees a robust inventory system with responsibilities exceeding $5 billion, specializing in business analysis, workflow improvement, and systems upgrades, including Manhattan WMS, Intelligrated WES, and SAP. Prior roles include Manager of Internal Audit and Investigations at Big Lots and leadership positions at KB Toys and as District/Area Assets Protection Manager at Big Lots, where Nicholas honed expertise in retail loss prevention strategies. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University.
