Venkata Sai Yashwanth Injeti

Venkata Sai Yashwanth Injeti is a Plant Metallurgist at Big River Steel since September 2019, specializing in metallurgy related to steel making and microstructural behavior. Previously, Venkata served as a Doctoral Researcher at The University of Texas at El Paso from January 2015 to May 2019, focusing on failure analysis and metallurgical investigations of pipeline and austenitic stainless steels, along with researching aluminum's effect on TRIP steels. An engineering internship at Big River Steel in 2018 provided experience with advanced characterization techniques for understanding microstructure evolution in silicon steels. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, a brief tenure in a Ph.D. program in Chemical Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from MVSR Engineering College.
