Lauren Anderson

Lauren Anderson is an accomplished professional in scholarship program management, currently serving as the Director of Scholarship Programs at Big Shoulders Fund since January 2022. In this role, Lauren oversees the business operations of various scholarship initiatives, leads strategic cross-functional projects to enhance applicant experiences, and manages operational budgets. Prior experience at the National Merit Scholarship Corporation includes positions as Assistant Director of Scholarship Administration, where Lauren managed scholarship programs exceeding $40 million annually, and as Scholarship Administration Coordinator, focusing on staff workflow and onboarding procedures. Lauren's career commenced at RICE Child and Family Center, where recreational project management efforts addressed therapeutic needs of clients. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.
