Omar Asghar

Omar Asghar is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, currently serving as Senior Manager of FP&A at BigID since March 2021. Previously, Omar held the position of FP&A Manager at Splunk from November 2018 to March 2021, and served as a Senior Financial Analyst at OpenText from February 2015 to October 2018. Prior to these roles, Omar was a Senior Accountant at The Carlyle Group, where responsibilities included supervising financial and investor reporting for over €1 billion in Assets Under Management. Omar began a career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, working as an Associate and an Audit Intern, focusing on government-sponsored entities and compliance work. Omar holds an MBA in Finance from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland.
