Caitlin Bever

Caitlin Bever is a seasoned professional in the field of disease modeling and research, currently serving as Principal Scientist/Senior Research Manager at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation since 2020. Previously, Caitlin held similar roles at the Institute for Disease Modeling, leading the malaria team from 2019 to 2020, and contributing as a Senior Research Scientist from 2016 to 2018 and a Research Scientist from 2014 to 2015. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Research Scientist at Roche and a role as Computational Epidemiologist at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. Caitlin's career began at Entelos as an Engineer from 2008 to 2012. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from The University of British Columbia.
