Tim Cortesi

Tim Cortesi is an experienced professional in innovation and research computing support, currently serving as the Director of Innovation and Research Computing Support at Binghamton University since September 2013. Cortesi's role involves close collaboration with university stakeholders to develop innovative products and services, leading multiple teams on significant projects such as the overhaul of Binghamton’s Identity and Access Management System and the development of the myBinghamton portal. Previously, Cortesi held positions as Assistant Director of Innovation & Research, Senior Software Developer, and gained industry experience as President and CEO of Escher Labs, Inc., Software Architect at Sonostics, and Embedded Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin. Cortesi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business Administration from Clarkson University.
