Felix Wäckers

Felix Wäckers is an accomplished academic and industry leader currently serving as the Director of R&D at Biobest NV, where management of an international team of 27 researchers across 8 countries focuses on developing innovative solutions for crop pollination and protection while supporting production and sales and engaging with policy makers. In addition, Felix holds a professorship in Plant-Insect Interactions at Lancaster University since October 2005. Previous positions include Senior Researcher at NIOO-KNAW and Assistant Professor at ETH Zurich. Felix's educational background includes dual PhDs in Entomology from Wageningen University & Research and USDA ARS, along with an MSc in Entomology and Plant Pathology from Wageningen University & Research.
