Alex Phillips

Alex Phillips is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in various financial roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Financial Controller at Biofidelity since June 2019, Alex previously held the position of Financial Controller at Base4 Innovation from November 2013 to March 2024, overseeing finance and administrative functions in a fast-growing medical instrument technology company. Additional experience includes roles as Financial Controller at Lightcast Discovery and Finance Director at Everything Office Ltd, where Alex successfully completed an acquisition and integration of an educational supplies business. Prior advisory experience at Grant Thornton LLP and Grant Thornton involved corporate transactions, restructuring, and insolvency, including pre-pack sales retaining creditor value. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Newcastle University.
