Jennifer Dowdell

Jennifer Dowdell has over 15 years of experience in landscape ecological planning and design, currently serving as Practice Leader and Senior Technical Advisor at Biohabitats since October 2007. Previous roles include Senior Landscape Ecological Planner & Designer and Project Manager at Biohabitats. Jennifer participated as a Resident Artist in ecological arts residencies at BigCi, and KAMEN Artist Residency in 2019, focusing on landscape narratives and ecology. Academic credentials include a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Writing from Loyola University Maryland. Early career experiences include teaching English at Saint Gabriel's College and writing for Wilson Quarterly.
