Karen Spiller Tiano

Karen Spiller Tiano serves as the Internal & Executive Communication Director at BioIVT since May 2024. Previously, from November 2021 to May 2024, Karen held the position of Corporate Communication Lead for the Healthcare Division at Microsoft, where development of executive messaging for complex healthcare business units was a primary focus. Karen's experience includes senior roles at MilliporeSigma, where as Sr. Director of Public Relations, strategic media outreach generated over $3 million in new business. Prior to that, significant contributions were made as a Sr. Communication Manager at BAE Systems and in various reporting and communication roles at reputable organizations such as WMUR-TV, CNN, and Boston Globe Media. Karen possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and English from the University of New Hampshire.
