Art Wuster

Art Wuster is an accomplished professional in the field of statistical genetics and human genetics, currently serving as Director and Head of Statistical Genetics at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since January 2019, following a role as Senior Scientist (Associate Director) focused on target discovery using Human Genetics and Genomics. Prior experience includes a Scientist position at Genentech from November 2014 to January 2019, specializing in Human Genetics and Bioinformatics, and a Postdoctoral Fellow role at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute from September 2011 to November 2014, where statistical genetics was a primary focus. Additionally, Art held a position as Associate Consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants from January 2010 to September 2011. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Biology from the University of Sussex.
