Alexa Herbel

Alexa Herbel is a dedicated professional with experience in bioengineering, clinical research, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Field Clinical Specialist at BIOTRONIK since May 2023, Alexa previously conducted research on microparticle and hydrogel formulations at UCLA to deliver therapeutic levels of N-acetylcysteine to the inner ear. In various leadership roles, including Assistant Director of Bruin Community and Vice President of Engineering Ambassadors, Alexa coordinated numerous events to enhance connections within the UCLA community. Additional experience includes clinical research internships at Circadia Health and forensic engineering at WEXCO International, complemented by a strong academic foundation in bioengineering and technology management from UCLA, where Alexa graduated in 2023.
