Tom Lester

Tom Lester, CPA is currently serving as the Assistant Controller at Birge & Held since March 2022. Prior to this role, Tom accumulated significant experience as an Audit Manager at Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski from September 2015 to March 2022. Earlier in Tom's career, roles included Data Intern and Audit Intern at Information Technology Group and Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski, respectively, focusing on billing processes and audit fieldwork. Tom also has experience in education, having served as a Peer Tutor for Microsoft Access and Excel, as well as working in various capacities, including Warehouse Associate and Ambassador at Kelley Living Learning Center. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Technology Management, and Real Estate from Indiana University Bloomington, completed in 2015, and graduated from Zionsville Community High School in 2011.
