Dr. Jagdev Kaur Bhogal Fbcs

Dr. Jagdev Kaur Bhogal FBCS is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of computing and data science. Since September 1989, Dr. Bhogal has served as an Associate Professor and Head of the Computing & Data Science Department at Birmingham City University, where responsibilities include directing MSc programs in Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence, as well as leading the newly established Oracle Academy. With prior roles as an external examiner for BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and a Research Assistant at the University of Wolverhampton, Dr. Bhogal gained a Master of Philosophy in Expert Systems. Dr. Bhogal’s educational background includes a PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from City, University of London, an MPhil in Computer Science from the University of Wolverhampton, and a BSc in Computer Science from Coventry University.
