Esmond Chuah

Esmond Chuah currently serves as a Tech Lead at Bitdefender, a prominent cybersecurity firm, since August 2023, focusing on delivering advanced threat prevention, detection, and response solutions. Prior to this, Esmond held roles at Horangi Cyber Security, where contributions as Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer were instrumental in developing the Warden Cloud Security Platform, recognized in industry reports. Experience also includes positions at SHIELD as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead, contributing to an Autonomous Risk Intelligence platform for fraud prevention, as well as co-founding eNNOTATE, a collaborative learning platform. Esmond's career began with internships and roles at Microsoft and other organizations, complemented by a dual Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Business Management from the Singapore University of Technology and Design and Singapore Management University.
