Nico Vereecke

Nico Vereecke is an accomplished investor and technology professional with significant experience in the gaming industry and financial technology. Currently serving as an investor at BITKRAFT Ventures since October 2021, Nico is part of a prominent investment platform managing over $800 million in assets. Additional roles include being a board member at Cartridge and co-hosting the Wiser than Yesterday Podcast, which focuses on insightful literature. As a founding member of the Future of Gaming community, Nico explores innovations in gaming technology. Previously, positions included hosting The Metacast at Naavik / Master the Meta and serving as CIO at bonsai. Nico also has a background in algorithm development at Keyrock and software engineering with Wemanity Group and BNP Paribas Fortis, along with early leadership at Athletika. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Vlerick Business School and a Master of Business Economics from KU Leuven.
