Ibrahim Odeh

Ibrahim Odeh, PhD, MBA, currently serves as a Professor at Columbia+ since January 2024, focusing on customized executive education in construction management. At Columbia University since January 2010, Ibrahim holds positions as the Founding Director of the Global Leaders in Construction Management, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, and Special Advisor to the Dean of Engineering and Applied Science. Ibrahim’s teaching expertise encompasses various graduate and executive courses, including Managing Engineering and Construction Processes and International Construction Management. Prior professional experiences include instructing at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, interning at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Inspec Inc., and working as a Civil Engineer for Arab Construction & Contracting Company and Al Muhandis Al Arabi. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
