Dr. Sharman McRae

Dr. Sharman McRae is a seasoned educational specialist and advocate with extensive experience in various roles focused on student and parent support. Currently serving as a Consultant/Coach and Educational Specialist with SPM "PRIDE", LLC since March 2014, Dr. McRae also directs tourism initiatives at Black History Tours, facilitating college and HBCU tours to enhance students' educational journeys. Previous positions include Director of Education & Partnership Programs at Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan, Inc., and Program Director for the USF Upward Bound Program. Dr. McRae holds a Doctor of Education in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from the University of South Florida, a Master of Education in Student Counseling from the University of Louisville, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bethune-Cookman College.
