Matt Stubbings

Matt Stubbings is an experienced design professional currently serving as the Lead Designer at Black Sun since February 2020, where leadership of the digital design team is a primary responsibility. Stubbings also operates as a Freelance designer at Doinwork.com since January 2008, focusing on providing innovative solutions to design challenges. Previously, Stubbings held the position of Head of Design at eve sleep from October 2015 to February 2020, where guidance and innovation of the brand's visual identity were key contributions. Additional experience includes roles as an Interactive Designer at UNION Advertising Canada LP, Designer/Developer/Art Director at Ogilvy & Mather, and various positions in web design and digital solutions across multiple companies. Stubbings holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Carleton University, completed in 2009.
