Jon Ritchie

Jon Ritchie is an experienced football coach specializing in goalkeeping, currently serving as the Women’s Goalkeeper Coach and YDP Goalkeeper Coach at Blackburn Rovers Football Club since August 2022. Ritchie also holds the position of Deaf Women's Goalkeeper Coach with The Football Association since June 2021 and has been a Goalkeeper/Football Coach at Liverpool FC International Academy since January 2015. Previous roles include Behaviour Manager at Salford City Academy, Development & RTC Goalkeeper Coach with Manchester City Women, and Head Youth/Academy Goalkeeper Coach at Bury Football Club. Ritchie was the Head of Academy Goalkeeping at Tranmere Rovers FC and has extensive experience from earlier coaching positions and playing roles. Ritchie graduated with a Certificate in Education in 2014 from the University of Central Lancashire.
