Pete started their career in insurance in 1994 as a Business Analyst. Pete then moved into project management and later became a Senior Director at Cognizant Technology Solutions. At Cognizant, Pete led various Guidewire implementations for insurers across the United States. Pete was also part of the team that elevated Cognizant to a Guidewire Premier Partner.

In their current role at Blackcomb Consultants, Pete is responsible for leading Guidewire implementations for clients. Pete is also responsible for innovating new approaches to reduce scope, decrease Inception duration, and increase velocity.

Pete Carroll holds a Certificate of Program Management from The George Washington University School of Business, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Managed Information Technology from Cardinal Stritch University, and an Associate of Science in Physical Security from the Community College of the Air Force. Pete also holds an Associate of Arts in General Curriculum from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition, they are certified by Guidewire Software as a Guidewire Certified Analyst and by the Scrum Alliance as both a Certified Scrum Professional and a Certified Scrum Master. Pete is also certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional.
