Alex Demarais

Alex DeMarais is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in data management and product lifecycle management. Currently serving as Vice President for the Aladdin Platform at BlackRock since January 2022, Alex previously held various roles at State Street from June 2012 to January 2022, including Assistant Vice President, where responsibilities encompassed managing data warehouse products, coordinating ETL processes, and leading cross-functional teams. Alex developed expertise in data processing and reporting, drove strategic data initiatives, and actively engaged in sales planning and client solutions. Alex's educational background includes an MBA and a Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Analytics from Rockhurst University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from California State University, Chico.
