Chathura Colombage

Chathura Colombage is an experienced software engineer with a robust academic background and a focus in functional programming. Currently serving as an Associate Software Engineer at BlackRock since April 2022, Colombage previously held positions such as Senior Software Engineer at Quantcast and Back End Engineer at Qlearsite. The early career includes a significant role as a Software Engineer on the Paraformance research project at the University of St Andrews, alongside studies culminating in a PhD in Functional Programming. Colombage also completed an MSc in Internet Computing at the University of Surrey and holds multiple degrees in Computer Science from the University of Colombo.
