Colm Lanigan

Colm Lanigan is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in private equity, capital markets, and management. Currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of LTPC at BlackRock since January 2019, Colm has previously held key leadership positions, including Head of the Americas in the Private Equities Department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) from 2017 to September 2019, and Head of Principal Investments in the same department from June 2012 to March 2017. Colm's entrepreneurial background includes being the CEO of Tara Technologies Corporation, which was sold in July 2011 for over five times the return of capital. Additional experience encompasses roles at Vector, Caxton Iseman Capital, Credit Suisse First Boston, the International Monetary Fund, and McCarthy Tetrault. Colm holds an LLB in Law and a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto.
