Geraldine Buckingham

Geraldine Buckingham currently serves as a Senior Advisor and the Chair and Head of Asia Pacific at BlackRock, overseeing business activities across key markets including Greater China, Japan, Australia, Singapore, India, and Korea. Previously, Geraldine held the position of Global Head of Corporate Strategy at BlackRock, focusing on the firm's long-term goals and competitive strategy. Prior experience includes a role as Partner at McKinsey & Company, where work was primarily with large global asset managers, along with expertise in wealth management, private equity, and organizational strategy. Geraldine holds two Bachelor's degrees in Surgery and Medicine from Monash University, as well as a Master's of Philosophy in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford.
