L Jay Burks, PhD, is a seasoned professional in supplier diversity and education with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Supplier Diversity at BlackRock since May 2024, L Jay Burks previously held the position of Director of Supplier Diversity at Comcast from April 2012 to May 2024, where L Jay Burks was instrumental in enhancing the Supplier Diversity Program. L Jay Burks also has a long-standing academic role as an Adjunct Professor at Lincoln University since August 2003, teaching multiple business courses. Additionally, L Jay Burks has managed strategic supplier diversity initiatives for the State of Delaware and contributed to grant proposal development at Cheyney University.
