Mel Fyfe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transport planning and strategic management. Currently serving as Co-Founder at Blakthumb since March 2016, Mel has played pivotal roles in various governmental organizations, including Executive Officer City Places and Executive Officer City Transport for the City of Ryde, where strategic planning and transport strategies were key responsibilities. Previous positions include Director of New Business and Operations at TTM Consulting Pty Ltd, Director of Transport and Infrastructure at Barangaroo Delivery Authority, and Senior Project Manager - Transport at the City of Sydney. Mel's career also encompasses significant contributions at Transport for NSW, focusing on regional and active transport planning, alongside earlier roles in project engineering and traffic planning. Mel holds an Executive Master in Public Administration from ANZSOG, a Master of Planning from UNSW, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.
