Jaap Piso is an experienced leader in the steel industry, currently serving as the Head of Commercial at Blastr Green Steel since September 2024, focusing on sustainable ultra-low carbon steel production. Jaap is also an Advisory Board Member at Villari, contributing to advancements in software that addresses fatigue-induced cracks in large steel structures. As the owner of EDSJE-P.bv and advisor at Steel Invest Group, Jaap plays a pivotal role in business development efforts. Formerly, Jaap held significant positions within NLMK Group, including Managing Director at NLMK International, and CCO at NLMK Europe Strip Products, along with various roles at Tata Steel and Ed Survis BV. Jaap holds multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including Erasmus University Rotterdam and IMD.
