Lisa Weingarten Richards is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in lending regulatory issues, banking, and consumer finance. Currently serving as Lending Regulatory Counsel - Consumer Banking at Block since April 2024, Lisa previously held the position of Senior Counsel at Citizens from February 2023 to March 2024. Prior to that, Lisa worked as Counsel at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, specializing in banking and FinTech law. Lisa's career includes notable roles such as Partner at McGonigle, P.C., and Senior Attorney at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where responsibilities included reviewing fintech charter applications and analyzing regulatory compliance.
